I have the 7 speed wet clutch DQ381 gearbox. I have it in black and white from VW that it is oil change intervals are at 80,000 miles. This is also the case on TPS website. Does anybody know if this gearbox is ok with the 80k schedule or is it risky or should I be changing it at 40k like the previous DQ250 6 speed.

Whatever the accounts and marketing departments tell sales to say I ignore and halve it.

Yeh it won’t do the gearbox any harm with new oil and filter. Better to be safe than sorry.
