Hi All, i picked up a new S6 Avant 2 weeks ago, it was a Dealer car so had no choice of options, i wanted to get ACC retrofitted and possibly blind spot assist and Park Assist but looking on ETKA for ACC parts it only shows the Left Sensor, does anyone know the Part numbers for the 2 Radars in the front Grille?

Surprised that the S6 does not have it as standard. KUfatec will sell you the full kit of parts (at a price!) https://www.kufatec.com/en/audi/a6/a6-4a/adaptive-cruise-control-acc-for-audi-a6-4a-44020 and https://www.kufatec.com/en/audi/a6/a6-4a/?p=1&o=1&n=12&f=113

Yeah i have seen that, as an option it was £2350 ish for the tour pack which is more than just acc!
One sensor from Audi is 2k which makes a new fit way to get expensive, no S6 doesn’t get much more over the A6 mine has 360 cameras and b&o sound, but it isn’t actually the comfort pack…

Always amuses me how if you add up the cost of individual components the cost rapidly exceeds the purchase price of the car, before you even consider labour. Would hate to think what the cost of rebuilding the front end of a fully loaded A6 after a minor shunt would be. Must be heading for a 5 figure sum

I would say more than double it! Matrix headlights are circa £2k

Crasher do you know what components are needed to install ACC on a C8? Is there just 1 radar and the other side is a dummy cover?
I know you need to change the grille and the cruise control stalk, wiring from Kufatec ETKA shows two sensors but when you click on the one it tells you to check the illustration, this then says no illustration available.

I have given up on retrofits, too stressful unless it is an official VAG package with action and software codes included. In addition there are lots of companies out there offering the services fighting each other over pricing in a race to the bottom and I can't be bothered. If you go onto the Ross Tech VCDS forum, the most common problems are people fighting retro fits although this morning it is only 3 out of ten new posts, usually it is about 50%.

Yeah there are a few but they want 3.5k for ACC on the C8 i was hoping to do it much cheaper, but cant work out if its one or two radar in the grille

I had a look at the parts, it is fearsomely complex and even has its own jet wash! There are multiple different sensors and they cost £2196. There are two different systems, radar and laser, even maintaining these systems when factory fitted is a sketch.
