Anyone know what this is for in the attached photo? It’s the rear passenger side of my Avant. Well lined and with a single sensor inside

I’m my S7 that is where the amplifier is for the entertainment system I think? I’m guessing the sensor might be attached to the body and may be a shock sensor or something like that?? I might also be taking complete rubbish!

Could be an covered up earth wire I guess, would make sense if it’s used for electrical equipment in other models.

Decent little spot to shove stuff for me, especially as I’m busy stacking it with camping equipment.
