DCC Profile

Hi guys just got my Golf my 8 a couple months ago and was wondering. When you go to cruise control section it appears DCC and you can select profile. The options are sport, normal, Eco, comfort etc. Does this mean that if I pick sports then the car will become more responsive and fuel gauge will go down lol? Or does this have something to do with the cruise control? I have style edition 1.5 TSI version. Thanks

It just relates to cruise control, and how fast the car accelerates to (or back) to the set speed.

Setting acc to sport will make it accelerate to your chosen speed faster but of course any faster accelerating will use more fuel.
