info re flat bottom steering wheel and air bag suitability.

Hi folks I need a bit of advice if possible, i have purchased a genuine flat bottom steering wheel for my 2015 A6 Avant ultra 2.0 tdi, it was cheap as it came with no airbag and I knew I would need a different airbag as mine would not fit as the connections that secure the airbag to the steering wheel are different so if I get another air bag with the correct fitting would this just be plug and play as the electrical connections are the same or will the car throw up warning lights etc.

If you remove yours with the battery disconnected and refit the new one then reconnect the battery you shouldn’t get any airbag lights unless something is faulty.
