Diesel or Petrol Help!

Hi. I'm a VW Tiguan retiree. 7k miles a year is all. I'm looking to update to a newer model (car not wife). Last weekend I saw 2 Tigs in a VW dealership. Both 2018 2WD SE Nav models Identical in every way apart from mileages. Even prices are almost identical.
My question. 1st car. 24k miles 2.0l TDi. 2nd car. 11.5k miles 1.4 Petrol.

Advice needed on which to buy please!

7k miles per year I would go for the petrol. One of our friends has one as a second car and I was surprised how well it went.

I would not touch either of them, I hate Diesel and that 1.4 engine is a liability. 2L TSI petrol.
