Aegos Insurance won’t cover my VW T Cross

Hi

i am new to this a just purchased a 19 VW T Cross but my existing insurance company Aegos won’t insure it

Anybody had this problem and been told why?

I had one of my cars insured with Royal Sun Alliance for a number of years then all of a sudden they did not offer a renewal...

My reason was the broker still had on file a claim I made for a non fault accident but this had passed the five years needed to declare it... once removed they wanted to offer a quote again .... even though they did the original claim!

Have you had any claims in the past? if so and they have expired get them removed...

If they dont want your business there are plenty that will :) I am a member of the Institute of Advanced motorists, I have used there approved scheme for a 13 years ...
