Just changing stereo - some questions

Hi I'm changing to a clarion VSX578rusb screen. Can someone confirm:

1 Why are there 2 wires for the aerial? Theres the normal aerial lead and a fakra lead on the original concert unit. How/which do I connect on the new one? Also whats the fakra plug do?

2 Is there a speaker under the grill on the top of the dash????

1. Ignore the Fakra aerial, it a diversity antenna, or an IF feed for the diversity box. Just use the normal aerial connection. Remember it will need a "phantom" 12v feed down the centre core, so use an VW/Audi aerial adapter.

2. Yes there is, it takes its feed from the front speakers, so you don't need to worry about connecting anything to it, it will automatically work.

where do I get these adapters from, or rather what does it look like???

One of these - or a similar thing will do the job.

You'll see them sold as aerial "Boosters" which is utter nonsense , they provide 12v for the original aerial amplifier.
