Parking Sensor/DRL Fault

Have had numerous issues with my Mk 8 GTI but after a software update a couple of weeks ok all was fine...... until! Last couple of days I have been getting a pinging warning saying my parking sensors need cleaned (they are) and the light bar that runs across the front of the car isn’t on.

Anybody else had similar????

The led bar on the grill is not part of the daytime lights and only go on with the main beam at night.
Check to see if they light up at night.
If the parking sensors keep giving you trouble then better to get them checked at VW.

Yes, same issue. Brought it to garage and was told there is a scratch on the sensor. I checked them all and nothing obviously visible so I have my doubts and I would expect them to be more durable than that.
