Hi folks, went in for oils n filter today only to be told it's got wear and perishing on the secondary lower control arms. £1000.00 to fix. Think I'll get a quote from somewhere else. Thanks Audi.

Nice one! I had the same... Ordered powerflex bushings and had the guy change that plus fit Eibach springs and few other small things.
All parts, labour etc. was sub 600 job about 10 months back...

Yeah, I've been quoted £420.00 from our local Steve, who I trust. So guess who's going to do it?

Hi Chaps. Curious as to the mileage as to when these bushes get diagnosed for replacement? (These are front bushes?)
I have an eight year old 2.0 TDI C7 saloon, it’s had a fairly easy life, approaching c100k miles.. and just curious etc

70k on mine, got picked up last year but I ignored it, Audi picked it up again at last week's service......so, also front tyres badly worn on inside edge, coincidence??

Two years back, MOT on 66k miles I got "Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Front lower (Rear) suspension arm inner rubber bushes perishing (5.3.4 (a) (i))".
This was for the front left only. I waited a year as the car was absolutely fine and then replaced both sides with the "purple stuff".
I've got a cunning feeling that rocking 20" wheels contributed to this heavily, together with the current state of British roads.

Thanks guys good info. Mine is a 2013 model and I’ve not had any Mot issues so far ( touch wood etc) ; as I say car has had a fairly easy life. [emoji1303]
