Steering angle sensor

Hi all, I have the yellow steering warning on my dash, steering works fine and have replaced the steering angle sensor, all be it a used one. Has anyone had issues with tight or faulty track rod ends causing this or should I just bile the bullet and buy a new sensor because nobody can tell me why I can't reset the sensor. All answers gratefully received. Thanks

I think you have to code the new steering angle sensor into the car and perform basic settings / adaptations in VCDS.

But we need fault codes to diagnose this really otherwise we are just guessing.

Get a full scan done using VCDS and post the scan on here. Then we can help you out.
