Audi a4 gearbox issues

Hi guys new to this stuff just bought 1.8 t a4 is been a bit up and down miss fire issues but I've sorted that new plugs and coils . It's just that she got the acceleration and moves like a scolded cat but sits in the high revs range a little bit longer than I think it should just wondering if this is right or not ?? And there's not really a big kick down when u stamp the pedal ?? Should there be previous autos I've had have done just enquiring.

Unless you know it has been done, with that engine I strongly recommend you drop the sump and clean it out with solvent or brake cleaner. The vast majority of these 1.8T engines have been destroyed by sump sludge which is why you now see so few and in dropping the subframe to remove the sump, you may find the source of your knock.

Are we talking part throttle or WOT kickdown ?
