Radio signal strength

Some years ago now, Kjeld (RIP) showed me how to get into a higher level of menu within the radio on my Touran and one of the many superfluous options was to show the strength of the received radio signal and compare one side antenna with the other (I believe later models only had one antenna?). I know this is serious anorak country but can anyone remember how to do this?

New one on me but having VCDS makes you lazy in bothering with the tricks. The first time I came across this was on the later Golf 2 GTI where you could put the MFA into a different mode... I can’t remember how though now but I have it written down somewhere.
