Mk4 Golf indicator 'clicker'.

The unit that emits the clicking sound when the indicators are selected, carries on after they are switced off!! The indicators don't flash, just this strange clicking noise behind the middle of the dash!

Anyone else had this happen? Be interested in a solution, part number of the relay, etc.

Quite a common problem.

The hazard switch is the relay for the indicators and hazards, replace it as a unit to solve.

Thanks for that. Was confused as to why the clicker worked independantly from the light relay.
