Hi, I’m new to the forum and this is my first post. I’ve got a mk5 Jetta BKD which is running a GTB2260vk with air lift suspension. I got carried away on eBay (as usual) and ended up buying a 4motion rear subframe, fuel tank and gearbox. I should be beginning the swap next month once a large portion of the parts have arrived. It’s my daily car so I will be doing the conversion bit at a time starting with rear subframe and fuel tank. This should allow me to drive the car in between steps. I’ll try to post as much of the build process as I can with the hope that it makes it easier for anyone else wanting to do the 4motion conversion on a mk5 platform car, I’ve seen a couple of build threads on the web and the information is what has given me the confidence to have a go
