Hello
Just put a new Three SIM in the car as the previous Three SIM had come to its 12 month end of life.
For some reason I cannot get Google Earth maps to appear in the sat nav view anymore.
Data connection appears to be there as I can see the weather forecast.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Audi have turned off Google earth, depending on the tear of the car there are firmware updates available from the dealer.

It’s a 2017 car, surprised Audi have turned it off without sending a notice out. I extended the warranty for another year as the car is over 3 years old. Might give the dealer a ring next week and get them to pick up and update the cars firmware.

Just did a Google and it looks like there is no upgrade path for my car.
I believe connect will still be available

Google earth has been discontinued on the c7 platform. I have the same issue. I use google maps on CarPlay now. Only issue I have is it doesn’t show up on my HUD. First world problems [emoji57]

If it's been disabled then live traffic updates have gone as well I assume? That was the single stand out feature that sold me the car. Ah well. Thanks Audi.

Think live traffic is independent of google maps never used google maps only the built in mapping and live worked with that. Admit have not used nav since November so unable to confirm this but suspect live still working.

Online traffic information comes from Inrix, although it is the same source as used by Google it is independent of Google

The maps are still working on mine, not noticed the live traffic.
I am presuming I am living on cached maps, I did try to zoom last week and it was blurred.
Perhaps the time has come to fit a CarPlay solution from Ali and defect to Waze. Already, that’s what I use on my BroadIt mounted phone, with the added bonus of better traffic and camera alerts.
