Hi there just a quick one , First time ever today had this , but phone stopped working and picked it up from wireless charger , and it was giving me a warning to let phone cool down . Now i have never had this happen before , as i thought the wireless charger would just come on and off when needed so would not generate so much heat . If it happens again i will book it in, maybe even a glitch, just one off . Anyone else had anything like this ? .Will keep posted in case this might be an issue for some in future .

just an update, after some research i discovered that using google maps for a long period of time while on a wireless charger is not a great combo .

Google maps is very power hungry and uses a lot of battery, and will cause a certain heat level to develop on phone , add that to the heat generated with charging it can cause over heating, phone was on for almost 2 hours with maps .

Since not using google maps for that amount of time no issues, and using apple maps, not issue either, just a heads up

Yeah I have noticed if I have my phone on the charger for half an hour or so when I lift it off it is very hot! Using iPhone 12.
