Golf 8 - Sequential Blinking lights

Does anyone know if the sequential blinking indicators are only available on cars with matrix lights?

Is it possible for normal indicators to blink sequentially configure via a software configuration? If so how?

I have the golf 8 style eTSI.

Only possible with the upgraded iq lights I think they're called.

The wife's style has iq lights but don't think they have the sequential indicators

Mine has the IQ lights. I imagine the sequential mode is a setting that can be applied but I'm not sure where I can get this done.
