how do you start your car

Hi just a query on how your car starts, (2015 2.0 TDI Ultra) when i get in and press the clutch in and push the start stop button to start the car sometimes it starts first time other times i have to go through the procedure twice before it starts, is this normal or am i doing something wrong

I have this on my C8 sometimes. Usually if it has not been driven for a few days.

Had this occasionally on both my manual C7s. Issue seemed to be related to the sensor on the clutch and not fully depressing the pedal before hitting the start button. Just learnt to live with it

just to update this post since posting this i have made sure the pedal has been pushed right to the floor and car starts every time first push of the button so my fault, A6 newbies eh:Blush:
