Hi,
I've just test driven a September 2017 Golf GTI with 31k miles on the clock. Its been serviced once in February 2019 at 16k miles, and the dash display says its overdue an inspection service by 243 days.
There is also no service book (should there be?) but there's an official printout showing the delivery inspection and that one service above.
Its at a good price, and they'll service it as part of the purchase - they are not a VW dealer but they say it will be recorded properly with VW (Its an Arnold Clark Renault garage).
What would you do?!
Thanks for any advice!
Also - I just went onto "My Volkswagen" and added it as "my car". I can only see an MOT & Brake Fluid change 3 weeks ago. Not the service shown on the printout in the car (from a VW dealer).
