Hi, I am thinking of ordering an e-tron s. Does anyone know what the lead times are? Has anyone driven one or ordered one, and if so, do you have a build week yet? Was also thinking of getting an exclusive paint, so no doubt, that would add 2-3 months to the time. Also, does anyone know where they are manufactured? Thank you.

They are built in Belgium and China. The seventh digit from the end of the VIN would be B indicating Brussels production.

It is a great car! A friend of mine owns one and he says that it is gorgeous. He used to have other premium cars with internal combustion engines but E-tron can't even be compared with them in terms of dynamics and driving emotions. Moreover, via carplus (https://carplus.co.uk/) he managed to get a really great car finance with no impact on his credit score.

I don't think so because in the long run a battery is a good choice to save money on petrol, oil, service etc.

OK, just seems a bit insane to me being as the warranty is only 8 years or just under 100k miles.

It's about twice what petrol would cost for 10 years.
