Long story short, after years and years of owning Audi I took a Range Rover Velar 18 months ago. Surprised surprised it got stolen and given where the EV world is now I thought why not come back to Audi but in the e-tron.

I've got a test drive book for next week, but want to hear real-life stories and view points.

My mileage is only 5000 a year and made up of short distances here in London. The family of 4 is now used to having a particular size of car, so a Q7 is too big and Q5 a little tight. The Velar fitted nicely into that gap and I hope the E-tron does the same. But more importantly, does it live up to being a practical, easy to maintain vehicle? How is it maintained if something goes wrong, as I assume not many dealers will have the technician to support it, it being such a new range.

Look forward to your opinions.

In case anyone actually reads this forum. As of now my closest dealer who’s equipped to service the e-tron is Watford. 23 miles away, when my nearest dealer is only 4 miles away.
