Stop / start stopped

2012 3.0 TFSI with stop / start - I've noticed that stop-start generally happens a lot more in summer than in winter, and as the years have gone by it seems to be stopping a lot less than when I first got the car.

Is this just down to the 12V battery, or is there something more to it? I've still got the original battery, so it could be a sign that a new one is required.

Battery. Stick it on a C-Tek for a week to condition it and you’ll be back to normal.
