Damaged fuel tank?

Got caught out by a stealthy root reversing the other day and this is the consequences

Nothing appears to be leaking from it but some plastic bung type thing appears to be a bit scrunched.

Am I right in thinking this is the fuel tank?

Is it worth doing anything about this?


Any advice appreciated

Found an underside picture in the Haynes which indicates this isn't the fuel tank and tried (and failed) to rename the thread so apologies for the misleading title.

Can't seem to search for the right thing in Google images to get a decent underside diagram so still not quite sure what this is. I guess it might be outside of the spare tyre well?

I think my question about whether to do anything about this is still valid though so any thoughts on that would be great.
