So, got a strange one a few days back: the car reported "adaptive lights malfunction". It went off and on a few times since then.

The error picked up by OBD11pro is as following:

Sometimes it pops up after clearing the code immediately, sometimes, it does not come up at all.

Hence, as I had some fun with swapping springs recently, can it be related to this? If not, what's the culprit and where is it located? :)

I think that is the H7 “low beam lighting” bulb, I will check at work.

I had this error pop up a while ago on my car - it was just the near-side cornering bulb that needed replacing. Like you it was intermittent, but pretty much always came on when I made a slow left turn, i.e. when the cornering light would've come on. Was a fairly simply bulb to swap out.
