Washer fluid not filling and warning light on

The warning light came on for washer fluid low, tried to fill it but it was as if it was already full (it won’t of been as it’s used a lot recently). Is there anything that could be blocked, or a faulty sensor?

I know now it’s going to be something really stupid... 🙁

Further investigation it takes forever to fill through the fill hole, looks like its got a gauze in it but i cant seem to get it out to clean it? Any ideas guys?
