Help needed please

Hi all
I have recently updated the clocks to sweep on start up by vagcom also activated the gear indication next to the D and S on my 2012 A6 s line auto ,works ok on the S but not on D it’s all activated on the vagcom has any one tried this and managed to get it to work .

What gearbox do you have?
If you have multitronic then you dont have set gears, in sport mode it simulates gears. I had this on my old car.
If you have Stronic then it will show what gear you are in anyways without the need to program it with Vagcom.

I suspect you have a multitronic gearbox most commonly used with the 2.0TDi but did come on the fwd 3.0TDi like my last car.
