Full lock clicking

Hello again.
I have searched but can't find any previous reference to my query.
Just pulled into a car park and noticed a rapid clicking from o/s front wheel when low speed steering is at full lock. As soon as lock is loosened it stops.
Would anyone know if this is a potential future problem ?

Sounds like a driveshaft CV joint - but I don't know they are a known weakness on a Passat.
