Audi A6 C7 2015. 2.0 tdi s-tronic

Due to covid i have been working from home since mid march. My driving has pretty much stopped, just filled up the first time since then, so have only done about ~1200km in ~3.5 months.
Today while driving after 30 minutes, the glow plug indicator started to flash. When I checked with my OBDeleven, I’m getting fault P211100, throttle actuator stuck open.
I’ll try take a look at it later today, some sites suggest cleaning the throttle valve body and I’ve seen some damaged clogs on control module.
I wonder has reduced driving causes this issue..
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Okay - had a better look this afternoon, found it but failed to remove it, after about 2 hours, i just put it all back together.. Called Audi and was told a replacement throttle valve was about €550 & about another €250 to fit. I'll try again tomorrow!.
I've decided i'll try make a guide - (cant figure how to attached a pdf here)
Would appreciate any advise on removal thou..

With regards to removal is it the angle of the screws and lack of space at the throttle body?

If so I have found its a test of your tool collection. I can make various lengths of bits and have flexible as well as rigid driver options, torx keys, mirrors etc but still need a few more tools in this regard.

Also the correct body positioning is essential for each bolt. If working towards the firewall you will need a sturdy stool to stand on.

Hi, I am in the exact same position as you were.

I have half dismantled it but not sure how to fully get it out. Did you manage to post a how to guide?
