Hi I have 2013 A5 3.0 TDI between low revs 1000-2700 has a strange type of flutter noise not cams or belts or chain hard to discribe only low range revs runs fine otherwise also same flutter happens when car is warm and started only for few seconds any ideas please

Impossible to say without hearing it first hand, how do you know it is not the timing chains as it is common and ties in with your description.

As all been changed I’ll try record it it’s a low range spluttering
