Touran Emissions garage

Morning, my Vw (bxf) engined touran has the message emission garage and goes into limp home mode.
Scanned the car and it says that it has issues with x3 glow plugs open circuit and the alternator load unit?
Could the glowplugs be causing the emission ptoblem?

It was a decade or so ago that I did mine, but IIRC rwplacing glowplugs snd clearing fault did fix same error for me.
