I have no idea but will offer the following suggestions,
1, Buy a land rover and washers will be the least of your worries1
2, I have seen washer pumps with a built in filter gauze, had to rmeove pump to access the gauze
3, I have seen rear wshers not used for so long the washer fluid/additive had gone hard in the pipework
4, If fitted the non return valve may have failed, in which can it will take some time for the fluid to pump all the way to the rear
5, On some cars one pump does front and rear apparently by running backwards, might be worth looking at?
6, Pipe may be kinked where it enters the rear tailgate or even be blanked off

Aaaand, the pipe running to the rear may have disconnected at one of the joints due to freezing.
Run the rear washer for a while, and if the reservoir has gone down, but nothing out of the jet, lift the carpets and prepare for a flood!
On the C5, the main culprit is the A pillar in passenger side floor. C7 may be similar...
I mopped out 5 litres of green screen wash from my C5 :(

i can not see any washer fluid on the ground anywhere ,or inside boot area/tailgate ,does anyone have any pics as to where all the joints in the pipe are and how many are there so i can start removing trim to investigate. in the front some say front inside "a" pillar passenger side others say under wheel arch trim .this is the a6 avant c7 2012 on... any help

Washer bottle is behind the front passenger wheel inside the wheel arch.
Jack car up, remove wheel and inner wheel arch, you will see it there. I've had mine out on my Allroad due to stagnant water smell. Easy to come out, takes about 20mins

all sorted now ;):beerchug: the black plastic pipe connector just levered of with two small screwdrivers.it was blocked with what looked like something black and hard looked like charcol?? and the straight pipe up centre of wiper shaft also had same, solid for about 1/2"at bottom .cleaned it out.and wash is working now
