Phatbox Install

I've just purchased an Audi Phatbox, but of course forgot to check whether I had a changer cable. Haven't got the keys to remove the head unit, so just wondered whether anyone knew whether a cd changer cable is pre-installed? Mine is an A6 Avant 5 speed 130bhp, 51 reg.:confused:

Some cars have it pre-installed, some don't. It depends how lucky you are! It wasn't pre-installed on my 2003 A6 Saloon. Sounds as though you'll just have to have a good look to find out.

Forgive my ignorance, but for the unintiated... What's a "Phatbox"? Or do I need to say "wicked", "bad", have some phat alloys and hang-around the Halfords carp park a lot to know what one is? :D

Now that's funny...
It's essentially an mp3 player, which interfaces with an Audi or VW head unit. Attaches to the cd changer port on the back of such headunits. Would send you the link for the website, but it's been down for weeks.
