Hi i wonder if anyone can help or if this is a common fault , the rear left indicator has developed an intermitten fault . the warning light comes on telling me the indictor is not working but then after the car has been rested is ok . starte after all this rain so any wondering if mositure has got in ? it actually started after i quickly indicating right and then right ....any help at all with this would be greatly apprecaited
It's a well known issue, you should have to check the sealing immediately. This failure can cause serious damage, while the replacement of the gasket will solve the problem. Check it as fast as you can to avoid the unit replacement.

That’s a coincidence...I have had the exact same issue with mine; and on the same side too!... no signs of moisture in the lense tho.. this happened before almost a couple of years ago.. but went away.. but now back... Think it is now back to normal/resolved itself. I was going to remove light unit and perhaps squirt some wd40 on the connector plugs? I have also seen mentioned elsewhere the possibility of a faulty earth connection....
