Hello ladies and gents.

i own a 2009 vw golf tdi 1.6 im getting the above issues so i plugged it in to find the blow fault code so i replaced the Exhaust Gas Temp EGT Sensor (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-Gas-Temp-EGT-Sensor-Some-VW-Golf-Mk5-Mk6-1-6TDI-2-0TDI/312474539717?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649)(black plug)

which sensor is Sensor 4 Bank 1 and Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 can someone point them out for me ?

Your VCDS interface, what is it? Before I upgraded to the HEX NET I was having similar unknown code issues.

Meaning my Diagnostic system Is ross tech can you guide me plz this one-has really annoyed me to resolve

Which VCDS interface do you have, the one you plug into the diagnostic socket? The curent top version is HEX-NET.

You need to raise this with Ross Tech as to why it is an unknown code.
