View Full Version : A4 Avant Rear Wiper Arm & Blade

I have bought an Areo kit from VAG parts on the internet for Avant models, turns out this is for an Audi 80.:aargh4:

They do not stock a rear wiper kit for A4 Avant 2002 model.

Can someone point me in the right direction to purchase a Rear Wiper kit for my car.

GSF or dealer?

I'm yet to replace the rear wiper (standard version) as its streaky, I think the only option is the dealer as Halfords, GSF etc stock the right size, but the wiper is always too thick to fit in the arm.

I have just been quotes £37.00 from Audi for a new rear wiper kit, is this a good price?

Yeah I'd like some Aero wipers, (got them on the BMW 1) as they are much neater, not sure about actual superior wiping though. The rear is covered with a plastic cowl so is hard to see if it is an Aero wiper or not anyway - if you're going for aesthetic reasons!! I may upgrade though as you get the arms in the kit and mine has a bit of the scabby paint on the front arm.

I think the Audi price isn't bad, although I haven't really looked into it.

RE gearbox; Thanks :beerchug: One of those jobs that if you think about it too much beforehand you probably couldn't be bothered with. But as I had access to alternative transport it wasn't too bad and could leave the car in the garage until I had got all the parts.

I paid £32.85 delivered for two front sets and one rear for the avant, there the proper audi ones too. You have to email and ask if they do rear ones, they'll explain what to do in there reply. Beats paying £38 for one full set from audi ********.:beerchug:. Quick delivery too.
