Hi, i'm new here so apologies if this is in the wrong catagory.
I recently bought a 61 plate (http://i.viglink.com/?key=b5af65cd36fd6c0148309b35e44d29cf&insertId=f62ffaba7ed01682&type=CD&exp=-1%3Ana%3A0&libId=jyx2ia4x01001qxy000DA1j3djjex&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D94%26t%3 D982707&v=1&iid=f62ffaba7ed01682&opt=true&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb _noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dplate&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewforum.php%3Ff%3D94&title=SEAT%20Forum%20%3A%20SEAT%20Enthusiasts%20%E 2%80%A2%20View%20topic%20-%20Fuel%20gauge%20issues&txt=%3Cspan%3Eplate%3C%2Fspan%3E) alhambra 2.0d which is everything i wanted except for a problem with the fuel gauge (http://i.viglink.com/?key=b5af65cd36fd6c0148309b35e44d29cf&insertId=a7375a1220ab8428&type=CD&exp=-1%3Ana%3A0&libId=jyx2ia4x01001qxy000DA1j3djjex&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D94%26t%3 D982707&v=1&iid=a7375a1220ab8428&opt=true&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb _noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dgauge&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewforum.php%3Ff%3D94&title=SEAT%20Forum%20%3A%20SEAT%20Enthusiasts%20%E 2%80%A2%20View%20topic%20-%20Fuel%20gauge%20issues&txt=%3Cspan%3Egauge%3C%2Fspan%3E)!
The gauge has a habit of randomly going from say 130 miles to 5 for example. (1/3 of a tank to fuel light on )
I have a warranty with the car so had the sender unit inc fuel pump (http://i.viglink.com/?key=b5af65cd36fd6c0148309b35e44d29cf&insertId=13873338466f4b15&type=CD&exp=-1%3Ana%3A0&libId=jyx2ia4x01001qxy000DA1j3djjex&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D94%26t%3 D982707&v=1&iid=13873338466f4b15&opt=true&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb _noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dfuel%2Bpump&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.seat-forum.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewforum.php%3Ff%3D94&title=SEAT%20Forum%20%3A%20SEAT%20Enthusiasts%20%E 2%80%A2%20View%20topic%20-%20Fuel%20gauge%20issues&txt=%3Cspan%3Efuel%20%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cspan%3Epump%3 C%2Fspan%3E) unit changed but this has not cured the problem..
It only seems to happen when the fuel level gets bellow a 3rd of a tank!
Has anyone had similar problems or know what is causing this?
any advise will be greatly received..
