A4 sline new shocks height problem

Hi , just had new front shocks fitted by local mechanic to my 2013 a4 s line tdi. When I picked it up I noticed it is sitting about 30/40 mm higher at the front. I asked where the shocks fitted for an s line and was told all the a4's have same shocks? Am i crazy or is there different shocks for the s lines to suit the lower springs. Thanks in advance

There are eleven front dampers listed for a 2013 8K A4, you need the part number of what he has fitted and if you private message me your REG I can tell you what you should have and what has been fitted.
