Touran 2011 parking sensors

Hi Guys

I am after some help, both front and rear parking sensors are not working on my touran. The button near the gearbox is illuminated but no sound

can anyone advise of any troubleshooting steps I can take before I have to take into the garage, ie a fuse etc?

If it is a factory fitted system it is linked into the diagnostic system so a code read would save a lot of time.

thanks for the reply it is a factory fitted system,, will get the scan done and post the results
on a side note does anyone have a fuse box diagram for the car?

quick update guys car went in for a dsg oil change today the dealer contacted me with regards to some other repair work, dont they always !!!
interestingly the parking sensors were not mentioned and they did not see anything on the onboard computer showing anything relating to it,,, any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Before shouting at them "use the ODIS properly you muppets" you need to establish if these sensors are factory fitted or aftermarket. To make this easier, PM me your reg and I can tell you.

Yes it has Pr-7X5 full front and rear factory fitted Park Distance Control so tell them to pull their fingers out and do their job properly using their “ODIS” system under “Guided Fault Finding” and to do their job properly..... disgraceful...

The car is no longer at Vw will take it to a local garage and ask them to try fault finding using the onboard computer
