Aux Heater To Parking Heater Webasto 7n

Hi All,

I contacted a company in Mansfield regurding fitment kit for the T91 / T100 to upgrade my car to overnight heating, they told me they had contacted webasto and said no, gave them all the car details

Anyway through the webasto website it says I can have the kit so confused. I have seen kits online at just over $500 about £450 to me, claiming it will work.

Can anyone tell me if they have successfully done the conversion

Basically 2 reasons I need it is

1 My youngest sister is not well and wont see the summer out, currently living in the car following her around between hospitals in Scotland (Its still a wee bit frosty)
2 Will be using the car for ski trips at some point when above is over :-(

You might have more luck getting in touch with a company which does camper conversions. There is a webasto dealer / auto electric company in Haddington which would be reasonably close to you. I've seen some threads about this on one of the VW camper forums but seem to remember there was an issue with the unit not running for long as it drains the engine battery. (to run fans).
