Which True MPG figures

Quite interesting that going to 4 cylinders doesn’t mean significant mpg benefits:

I did read about the difference in mpg being negligible between the two when I was looking at purchasing. It was also remarked on in some you tube vids where the more powerful engine was the engine of choice as the positives outweighed the downsides regardless of the small difference in mpg.
