Hi all,
My 2010 S4 is having some issues with the fuel gauge, it intermittently gives a "tank unit malfunction" fault and reads no fuel.
Today it started reading again but was only showing 1/4 tank (I expected about 1/2) after some spirited driving it eventually read about where I expected.
Because of these symptoms I'm expecting the fuel sender to be broken.
Having done some research it appears (from online posts and ELSAWIN) that there are two senders (G6 and G169) however when I lifted the rear seat to try and confirm which was broken with my trusty `multimeter, I could only see 1?
Could anyone confirm how many there should be, and their location please?
And if you can provide part numbers that would be amazing.
Then it'll be on to find out why the cooling fan runs so fast...... Thermostat I guess.
