MMI 3.5 jack cable

Hi,

Has anyone out there connected one of those DAB radio kits, I have one (has the FM radio conection) but also has a 3.5mm jack line out and was wondering if you can fit it to the MMI 3.5mm jack cable in the glove box (I currently have one with usb stick).

You can fit what ever you like to get audio from device via ami with 3.5 adapter, but you cant control it via mmi.

I had access to a few different different ones that a tried, but make sure they are formated as FAT32, mine was a 16gb (kingston - I think).

I've read that you also need to create a playlist on the drive to get them to work. Is that true?

No i just put my music in folders by artist then album name, so it displays on MMI screen.
