hi got a bit of a problem and was wonderining if any one could point me in the right direction ? im after buying a code reader and dont know which one to go for ? is pc based one the way to go or hand held ? any advice from you guys would be great thanks. papalion .

the way to go is get VAG-COM.

A computer based application, you can get a shareware version which will do the basics you require..

Also a lead will cost about £15 from ebay.

i will give out a few threads for you as this has been asked many of times!
