Fault Code 01304

Hi All,

I recently put back the original stereo head unit that came with the car - 2011 A3 8P S-Line Sportback.

I had a Pioneer unit before but the steering controls and rear speakers were not working. I checked for errors using the Carista App and i got the 01304 error.

Cleared the error in case it was one that was there as a result of the Pioneer unit, but the error keeps coming back. The steering controls and rear speakers are now working.

Anyone know why the error is still showing, and how it can be sorted?

The car is looking for the radio and cannot find it on the gateway. You may be able to re-code the CAN gateway to forget the radio.

It's the original factory radio that was fit back and everything works, steering wheel controls as well.

How do I go about coding? Thanks.
