Hi all

It looks like a pothole might have got the better of the nearside front spring on our 2008 Touran (but posting here as more folk pass by and it's a very similar setup:)). A grinding noise started when steering , and a listen around tracked it to the top of the suspension mount. From a peek underneath it looks like the top section of the spring has broken off, so the spring isn't sitting in the cup / bearing correctly - and indeed that bearing is displaced into the spring (pic2).

Main question is whether anyone can say if the dots on here are pink+yellow+green, or violet+yellow+green :

I'd have said pink, but looking at the online EKTA type resources I can't find a P-Y-G one so it seems likely to be violet and hence part 1K0411105HN for G24+L43 PR codes on the 2008, etc Touran. Can someone look those codes up if I PM reg / VIN?

I understand the top bearing is a cheap part so probably worth replacing anyway, but in case it isn't in stock, etc does the displaced one below look reusable:

TIA

It's violet :D. VIN decode gives the G24+L43 PR codes, as per PR codes from VIN please (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/190239-PR-codes-from-VIN-please).
