Decoding radio

I have a blaupunkt radio/sat nav in my superb. Ive been checking fuses and I need a code now to run it which I havent when bought it. At skoda dealer they says it £40 to get the code. I know the lad that works in a service like that and he said they doing it for free cause they can work the code out in seconds if you give them part no and all.
Any other ways to sort this out?
