Interior lights in A4 Avant (2011 model) are not working.

I changed the interior lights to a white type bulb. After several weeks, all of them do not work. The car is pitch black inside! Occasionally after I started or switched off the engine, the lights flicked three times and then that was it. What should I do?

Silly question, but have you checked the fuse? Have you swapped for LED's? I've had some cheap ones from eBay before, flickered and took out the interior light fuse!
