Notchy Steering

I've been driving my car for a few days now and notice the steering is a little notchy as in it seems to struggle, more so at low speeds but it is there when lightly steering at higher speeds.
I have read about an updated power steering hose but cannot find it for the 1.8tfsi, is this even the answer?

Its normally the intermitten steering shaft that has issues. The two U joints are exposed and the grease can dry out or dirt can get into them and create issues. Its about £140 for a new part.

Thanks man, I'm under warranty for 3 months so I'll give the dealer a call and see what he says, I'd like it sorted before something really breaks.

For anyone else interested i found this Technical Service Bulliten=TSB2020332/4 which seems to be another possibility attributing to this issue. Just a hose replacement but gets very good feedback from people who have changed it.
