q7 trans oil change advice

hello all.
in march 2017 i had my transmission oil and filter changed and when it went for mot a few days ago, the garage told me there was a oil leak from trans sump.

should i take it back to garage who did the change and are they liable as it been over a year? any advice would be great before i contact the garage.

it depends on the warrant they give you for any work done, a phone call to them or drop in by and ask them wouldn't go amiss though. most places will only give you 6 months warranty on work and 1 year on parts though.
